Hearts are complex. They’re moving, multi-dimensional vital organs and they change over time. As such, capturing ultrasound images of the heart is complex for clinicians. Their workflow is burdened by tedious tasks, manual calculations, physical strain, and unnecessary rework, all compounded by growing caseloads and increasingly complex cases.

To address these challenges, Philips invested significant resources to innovate and launch a major new release of its CV Ultrasound platform. While the competition nipped at their heels, the Philips team remained focused on a game-changing leap forward. Their new release was one deserving of a bold campaign. A campaign that clearly shows how Philips leads the way and redefines how clinicians manage the complexity of CV Ultrasound.

The solution

We created the Transcend Campaign to usher in a new era of CV Ultrasound. Bold and uniquely ownable language combined with stunning custom 3D visuals brought Philips groundbreaking cardiovascular ultrasound portfolio to life.

By showcasing advanced AI-driven innovations, we demonstrated how these capabilities transcend today’s limitations, redefine possibilities, and usher in the next dimension. We deliberately chose "next dimension" to break away from the overused phrases like "next generation" or "new era," while also reinforcing a core element of echocardiography—where measuring dimensions is fundamental. With AI tools accelerating and simplifying these crucial measurements, this theme resonated deeply. The eye-catching campaign extended cohesively across multiple channels that included email, landing pages, videos, social media, digital ads, sales materials, convention materials, and even made its way onto cupcakes.

The results

This successful campaign significantly exceeded industry benchmarks for similar initiatives. The key messaging and striking visuals captured attention at conferences, online, and internally at Philips in the U.S. and globally.
